With the explosion of the Northeastern Warpgate, the continent of Esamir was fractured with deep chasms and fragments of human and alien technology embedded in the exposed permafrost. Wild growth of alien flora surrounded the exposed Ancient Vanu structure formerly buried deep below the surface of the continent. Here time is frozen in a wild expulsion of intense nanite energy into the atmosphere, triggering wild auroras and violent energy storms. Esamir is warped, scarred and the balance of power is the region is changed forever.
